Organizations using Hitachi Vantara\u2019s Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) achieved a 285% return on investment (ROI), US$1.1 million in net present value (NPV) and payback in just seven months, according to a new Total Economic Impact\u2122 (TEI) study conducted by Forrester Consulting.<\/p>\n

Commissioned by Hitachi Vantara, the data storage, infrastructure and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. (TSE: 6501), the study found that a composite organization representative of interviewed customers with experience using VSP One delivered measurable business value by improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and enabling scalability across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Customers interviewed cited a 30% to 35% reduction in operational complexity, up to a 6:1 data reduction ratio, and significant time savings through automation and simplified management.<\/p>\n

These global findings were contextualized at Hitachi Vantara ASEAN Exchange 2025, held in Phuket, Thailand, where more than 110 regional CIOs, technology leaders, and industry experts convened to discuss the implications for Southeast Asia. Leaders across manufacturing, public services, maritime, banking, financial services and healthcare underscored the urgent need for stronger data foundations to support AI readiness and sustainable digital transformation.<\/p>\n
