The Women Economic Forum (WEF)-ASEAN 2026 – Philippines was officially launched last February 4, 2026, at Aberdeen Court located in Quezon City. The Philippines will host this year’s forum in conjunction with its role as the ASEAN Summit host country. This follows last year’s event in Malaysia, where the hosting baton was formally passed to the Philippines. Following a formal ribbon-cutting, the event was attended by influential women leaders representing diverse sectors throughout Asia.

This year’s WEF-ASEAN 2026 – Philippines will be chaired by Dr. Maricor M. Malitao, President and CEO of the Standout Group of Companies. The main forum is scheduled for June 18–21, 2026, at the iconic Manila Hotel. Additionally, a pre-event will be held in Cebu during Women’s Month in March.

These events are designed to empower women in launching and scaling their enterprises through informative talks and networking sessions. Participants can look forward to informative talks from notable businesswomen and valuable networking opportunities with ASEAN leaders throughout the three-day forum in Manila. Open to all, the forum focuses on addressing common challenges such as securing capital, finding reliable suppliers, and overcoming other business hurdles. A key highlight of the launch was the proposal for a “World Bank for Women,” an initiative aimed at providing accessible startup loans at affordable rates. Interested participants are encouraged to stay tuned for further details regarding the Manila and Cebu events.
