Bacolod’s growth is moving northward, and Saludad is moving with it.

As Bacolod expands beyond its traditional center, North District, the city’s fastest emerging growth area, is beginning to take shape. It is where Bacolod’s next phase of development is unfolding. At its heart is Saludad, the master-planned township helping pioneer this growth and becoming the address Bacolod is growing into.

PHINMA Properties recently marked a major milestones for Saludad, its 21-hectare master-planned township rising along Bacolod’s North District. Through a Joint Venture Agreement signing and the groundbreaking of TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod, the company underscored that Saludad is no longer just a vision. It is now in active development, with key township components underway.

Saludad is PHINMA Properties’ first township development and is co-created with JEPP Real Estate Co., a Bacolod-based firm deeply rooted in the city’s heritage. Master-planned by Royal Pineda+ Architecture·Design, the township is designed as an integrated address where residential, commercial, hospitality, educational, and open spaces come together in one connected and intentionally planned urban environment.

A highlight of the milestone event was the Joint Venture Agreement signing between PHINMA Hospitality, Inc., operator of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties in the Philippines, and JEPP Property Corporation. The partnership formalizes the development of TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod within Saludad Township. The groundbreaking that followed marks the beginning of vertical construction for the internationally recognized hotel brand, strengthening the township’s role as a destination for business, leisure, and regional activity.

Beyond hospitality, the township’s progress reflects broader movement within Bacolod’s North District. Strategically positioned along the Bacolod–Silay Airport Access Road, Saludad sits within a growth spine increasingly defined by improved connectivity, expanding infrastructure, and long-term urban expansion beyond the traditional city center.

Backing this momentum is the strength of the PHINMA ecosystem. As part of PHINMA Corporation, the township benefits from the group’s diversified presence in education, hospitality, construction, and property management, allowing Saludad to grow with institutional support and long-term stewardship.
