Are you interested in collecting coins, badges, paper money, and collectible cards? Then this is your chance to start your journey in collecting these valuable items at the Filipinas Collectibles and Antique Society (FCAS) Convention 2026. This annual convention is currently being held at the Quantum Skyview, Gateway Mall 2, Araneta City, Quezon City. This three-day event started yesterday and it will end tomorrow, June 28.
You can find a lot of local and international coins, and paper money here. There were also commemorative coins, and other collectible items like badges here.
There are also a lot of collectible cards sold here. If you collect Pokemon cards then this is the place to go. They have English and Japanese Pokemon cards, and they also sell old and new cards. There are other cards being sold here, such as One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic The Gathering, and other anime-related cards.
On the first day, Mr. Yannie talked about the process of coin designing and engraving. He also shared his experiences from the time when he used to design and engrave coins. He also compared the processes and mindsets of his time to those of the new generation of coin designers. There are also talks slated for the third day. These talks will be conducted by Prof. Annalee Soligum, Mr. Michael Jugar, and Boss Toyo.
For everyone who is interested in attending, there is an entrance fee of 300 pesos, but this is waived for senior citizens, students, PWDs, and those who have purchased at least 1,000 pesos worth of goods or items at any outlet or store in Gateway Mall 2.
