Dugenia, Marayan and Associates Company (DM&A Co.) celebrated a historic moment as they clinched their first-ever Anvíl Award at the 59th Anvíl Awards ceremony held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport City on January 31.
The agency was recognized for their outstanding collaboration with HomeCredit Philippines on the impactful “HomeCredit is the Key: Back-to-School (BTS) Campaign.”
DM&A Co. and HomeCredit Philippines joined forces to address the challenges faced by parents, particularly mothers, during the crucial back-to-school season. The campaign, running from July 1 to September 30, 2023, aimed to empower moms as the primary financial decision-makers, navigating the rising costs of education and school supplies.
The award-winning campaign provided a lifeline for mothers by offering affordable financing options. HomeCredit introduced zero-interest payment plans, alleviating the financial burden on mothers striving to provide their children with the best education. Flexible payment plans were also made available, ensuring that the cost of education could be spread over manageable installments, thus easing financial strain.
“This is a monumental achievement for DM&A Co. Being recognized with a Silver Anvíl Award, especially in our first year of eligibility, is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our team. Collaborating with HomeCredit Philippines on this campaign was not just about meeting objectives but exceeding them, and this award reinforces our commitment to challenging the usual in the realm of public relations,” said Michael Dugenia, Managing Partner of DM&A Co.
It is often referred to as the ‘Oscars of Public Relations’ in the Philippines, honor excellence in public relations campaigns and tools. DM&A Co.’s win is particularly noteworthy as it marks the agency’s debut at the Anvíl Awards since its inception in 2022.
HomeCredit PH Head of PR Ken Lerona commended the agency’s contribution to the campaign’s success. “Working with DM&A Co. was a strategic decision for HomeCredit. Their innovative approach and dedication played a pivotal role in the success of this campaign. This recognition at the Anvíl Awards is not just our success; it’s a shared triumph with DM&A Co.”
The Anvíl Awards, presented by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), received nearly 500 entries from over 100 companies and agencies, including local government units. DM&A Co.’s achievement at the 59th Anvíl Awards adds another feather to their cap and establishes them as a rising force in the world of public relations in the Philippines.
