In light of current global and local developments, including rising fuel costs and economic uncertainty, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026 affirms that the event will proceed as scheduled from April 9 to 12, 2026.
As the country navigates a challenging period marked by supply concerns and shifting economic conditions, MIAS recognizes the importance of sensitivity, responsibility, and relevance in how the automotive industry engages with the public. The show has always been more than a celebration of cars—it is a platform that reflects the evolving role of mobility in everyday life.
MIAS 2026 will focus on solutions-oriented mobility—highlighting innovations that address efficiency, sustainability, and accessibility. The event aims to support both the industry and consumers by showcasing technologies and vehicles that respond to today’s realities.
Anchored on this year’s theme, “Powering Mobility,” MIAS 2026 will take place at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) and will expand into the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), providing a larger and more dynamic venue for exhibitors and attendees alike.
With 25 brands participating in MIAS 2026, the event will go beyond showcasing the latest car models. It will highlight the evolving landscape of mobility, including:
- A strong focus on new energy vehicles, EVs, and electrified automotive technologies
- The introduction of sustainable mobility solutions and responsible transport innovations
- The debut of the Overland Experience Grounds Concept, promoting sustainable outdoor lifestyles, off-the-grid camping, and local travel
- Expanded offerings in the Truck Pavilion, featuring new energy commercial transport solutions
- EV charging infrastructure and other environmentally responsible products and services
Under this framework, participating brands are expected to present a range of electrified and next-generation vehicles designed to meet both current demands and future opportunities.
A key pillar of MIAS is the promotion of responsible car culture through the MIAS Petron Custom Classic Car Competition, in partnership with Petron Corporation. This showcase celebrates the legacy of Filipino craftsmanship, preserving and modernizing classic vehicles for future generations.
In line with making vehicle ownership more accessible and responsible, MIAS will once again partner with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Auto Loans as the event’s co-presenter to offer MIAS-exclusive financial solutions, with a particular focus on enabling the adoption of sustainable and electrified vehicles with MIAS-exclusive deals.
The event also continues to support the broader automotive ecosystem—from manufacturers and suppliers to small businesses and service providers—whose livelihoods are closely tied to the industry. At a time when economic activity is under pressure, MIAS serves as a venue for engagement, continuity, and a well-curated consumer experience.
“We understand the concerns many are facing today,” said Ms. Jill Ang, Managing Director of Worldbex Services International, the organizers of MIAS. “MIAS 2026 is being positioned not as a celebration detached from reality, but as a relevant and responsible platform that highlights how the automotive sector can adapt and contribute during challenging times.”
MIAS remains committed to promoting informed mobility choices and supporting the industry’s transition toward more sustainable and efficient transportation systems, in line with national initiatives such as the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act.
The Manila International Auto Show 2026 is organized by Worldbex Services International and is held in support of the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc., reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility alongside industry development.
