The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the country’s largest business organization, signed a partnership with the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) during the Viet Nam – Philippines Business Forum held in Manila to strengthen trade, investment, and business cooperation between the two nations.
Signing the Memorandum of Understanding were PCCI President Ferdinand “Perry” A. Ferrer, and VCCI Vice Executive President Nguyen Quang Vinh. The agreement establishes a framework for deeper cooperation, designed to expand commercial opportunities and strengthen economic linkages between Philippines and Vietnamese business communities.
Under the agreement, both chambers will regularly exchange information on trade and investment opportunities, support participation in business missions, trade fairs, forums, and seminars, and facilitate closer engagement among enterprises from both countries. The MOU also provides for the designation of focal points to coordinate activities and identify areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
The partnership underscores the shared commitment of PCCI and VCCI to promote greater business connectivity, stimulate investments, and contribute to the sustained growth of bilateral economic relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
