The 2024 National Food Fair was scheduled to take place at the Megatrade Halls 1-3, 5th level, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, starting tomorrow, July 3, 2024 until July 7, 2024.

A Decade of Celebrating Filipino Food

Now in its 10th year, the National Food Fair is organized by the DTI’s Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), in collaboration with the DTI Regional and Provincial Offices. This event serves as a premier platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage industry, a sector that represents nearly half of all MSMEs in the Philippines.

Last year’s event generated over PHP 28 million in sales for nearly 300 participating MSMEs, showcasing the resilience of Filipino food businesses.

A Bounty of Flavors Awaits

The food fair will showcase a diverse selection of products from all regions of the Philippines, highlighting the country’s rich culinary heritage. Here’s a glimpse of what you will find:

  • Fresh produce: Vibrant fruits and crisp vegetables showcasing the best of Filipino agriculture.
  • Processed and frozen delights: Convenient and delicious food options for every pantry.
  • Regional specialties: Unique cooked and organic dishes offering a taste of the Philippines’ diverse culinary landscape
  • Snack time favorites: An assortment of delectable snacks and native delicacies.
  • Culinary building blocks: Unique ingredients and condiments to elevate home cooking.
  • Beverages galore: Philippine coffee, refreshing fruit wines, and other beverages.
  • Health and wellness products: Food options promoting a healthy lifestyle.

A Feast for the Senses with Daily Doses of Inspiration

In addition to the culinary offerings, the fair will feature special pavilions dedicated to key industry clusters, such as:

  • The Coconut Industry Pavilion and Coconut-Based MSME Cluster
  • Rural Agro-Enterprise Partnership for Inclusive Development and Growth (RAPID Growth) Project Pavilion
  • Fresh Produce Pavilion
  • KAPEtirya or Philippine Coffee Pavilion
  • Philippine Island Wine, Beer, and Juice Bar

Various government agencies and private sector partners will also have booths to support MSME growth. A comprehensive daily program of activities will provide inspiration and skills development for food entrepreneurs and home cooks alike.

Following the opening ceremonies on July 3, the fair will offer cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, business talks, and workshops designed to equip MSMEs with valuable insights and knowledge.
