The ASEAN Gaming Summit 2024 successfully kicks off its first day today, and it is a jam-packed event with insightful and informative sessions. It was attended by people from the local and foreign gaming industry. The summit opened with the State of the Industry address by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Chairperson Alejandro H. Tengco, which set a very positive tone and outlook for the day’s proceedings.
This year’s ASEAN Gaming Outlook showed a good outlook for the ASEAN gaming industry, especially the Philippine gaming industry. In one of the sessions, they also tackled how the Philippines could take advantage of the policy changes in China towards the gaming industry.
The summit also featured some exhibits, providing a glimpse into the latest innovations that are driving the local and global gaming industry forward. The first day ended with a very successful and fruitful networking session.
As the summit continues, participants look forward to more in-depth discussions, learning opportunities, and celebrating the industry’s achievements at the Asia Gaming Awards that will happen on the night of the second day of the summit. The second day will close of with the Closing Party that will be held after the awards at BSK Manila.
ASEAN Gaming Summit is indeed shaping up to be a pivotal event for the gaming community, not just in the ASEAN region but also beyond.
