Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc. (Sun Life Grepa) and ACM Business Solution, Inc. (ACM) recently signed a strategic partnership agreement to address the life insurance needs of the underserved sector in the Philippines.

With this partnership, affordable Sun Life Grepa insurance plans will be made accessible to more than 300,000 qualified Go VIP customers spread across 1,900 VIP Payment Center branches nationwide.

“This partnership opens new and exciting opportunities for both companies. This will enable us to widen our reach to markets previously untapped. Riding on the crest of this fast-growing company, ACM can help us in our mission to help every Filipino achieve financial security and live healthier lives,” Sun Life Grepa Vice President and Head of Affinity Marketing Joen M. Songco said.

“In our venture to continue to strengthen our foothold in the financial industry, building a strategic partnership with one of the major insurers in the Philippines supports our commitment to deliver financial services closer to the community, particularly the unbanked sector. The synergy of both our organizations paved the way for us to offer innovative insurance products and services to our markets,” ACM President and CEO Rico Fernando M. Chico said.

During the signing, Sun Life Grepa was represented by Mr. Songco, who was joined by Affinity Marketing Development Manager Paul Jude B. Galera. ACM, on the other hand, was led by Mr. Chico, who was accompanied by its Chief Marketing Officer Jose D. Almilla Jr.

ACM, the company behind Go VIP Center, is one of the home-based or store-based Payment Center solution providers in the Philippines while Sun Life Grepa is a joint venture between Sun Life Philippines and the Yuchengco Group of Companies.
